Hayden Panettiere stepped out last night in Washington DC for the Green Ball at the Melon Auditorium.

The Heroes starlet was with her mother, Lesley, as she mingled with other notable celebs including Wyclef Jean and Jackson Browne.

The attire is Green (or Black) Tie. Hayden is an avid supporter of Barack Obama and I’m sure she’ll continue to be an environmental advocate during the course of his term in office.

Christopher “CJ” Wallace is following in the footsteps of his famous father, literally. The 12-year-old son of the late Notorious B.I.G. plays his father in the new biopic Notorious.

Biggie’s widow Faith Evans said she allowed her son to put his ordinary life on hold for the role.

“If it wasn’t for this project being the project it was, I wouldn’t have pulled him out of school,” Faith explains. “He thinks he’s interested [in being a performer], then every time he remembers that tutor he had on set he goes back to reality. He’s like, I don’t know.’ It’s fun, but it’s still work.”

He’s quickly learned that the work isn’t done just because the movie wraps! Now it’s time for those promo opportunities, like ringing the opening NASDAQ bell.

“He didn’t want to get up that early, but I’m like, ‘Uh-uh, baby, you go to work. You want fame? Fame costs,’” said Faith.

CJ also raps on the film’s soundtrack in a remixed version of his dad’s hit “One More Chance.”

Jamie Oliver might be one of the world’s hottest celebrity chefs, but in his own home he takes a backseat to the ladies in his life. He says pregnant wife Jools, six-year-old Poppy, and five-year-old Daisy are clearly in charge!

“The wife is getting more and more control of the house and the two girls have got it all sewn up,” Jamie said, noting that “I work for them now. Did you know that? I work for Poppy and Daisy Oliver.”

Part of that could be because the girls think Jamie’s work is “very insignificant!”

“They are completely unimpressed by what I do. As they get older they are getting cheekier and funnier.”

It remains to be seen whether Jamie has another “boss” when his third child arrives in April. After Poppy Honey and Daisy Boo, I can’t wait to see what they call this one! Jamie assures us it’s all out of his hands.

“Jools has got the names all sussed and she won’t even tell me. She’ll probably call it something like Sunshine or Dewdrop.”

Just as she did with her last pregnancy, Jools is experiencing “a lot of strange cravings. At the moment she is on a lot of everything. I can’t remember seeing her in the past week without something in her hand.”

One thing she won’t try is the placenta recipe Jamie hoped to concoct after the birth!  A dejected Jamie was heartbroken when he heard “they have to take it and do tests on it.”

“I was going to do a chicken liver parfait with placenta, not liver. I was going to get all my mates round to wet the baby’s head and I wasn’t going to tell them - then show them a DVD of me making it afterwards. But Jools wouldn’t let me, she is too sensible.”

It sounds like it’s a good thing Jools is around to rein her hubby in!

Liv Tyler has opened up about her split with ex-husband Royston Langdon in the latest episode of Harper’s Bazaar. The gorgeous actress said she feels like she is “walking down the road with nowhere to go.

“For the first time in my life I don’t really know [what’s ahead],” she admitted. “I am just trying to take one day at a time and be the best mom I can.”

And Milo certainly makes her life a little bit brighter. For now, Liv’s content for him to be the only man in her life.

“I kiss Milo on the lips all the time, but I haven’t had a kiss, kiss for a very long time.”

The three-year-old recently graduated to a “big boy” bed, but he’s having some trouble staying there! Instead, he’d much rather sleep with his mom!

“[It’s been] really cute, except that I don’t sleep because I just stare at him and start crying because he’s so beautiful and so sweet.”

Breakups are never easy, but I’ll bet having a cutie-pie like Milo around helps!

Carlos Leon, the father of Madonna’s daughter Lourdes, tends to stay out of the spotlight. But he recently spoke to People magazine about how he keeps the girl he calls “Lola” grounded.

“Look at me and the way I live: I ride my bicycle, I walk, I don’t have a driver,” he said. “That’s how I keep her grounded. Her mom does a good job too - she’s not that person that everyone thinks. She’s very laid back and cool.”

He said his bond with his daughter, who’s now 11, has grown over time.

“She’s at that point where she can call me and say, ‘Hey Dad, what’s up? What time are you going to get me?’ It’s really cool. We talk every day.”

The daddy-daughter pair enjoy sharing music, with both enjoying everything from Alicia Keys to Audioslave.

Just don’t expect Carlos to play the bad cop with his gorgeous girl.

“It’s hard for me to be the tough guy with my daughter. Maybe I should work on the discipline stuff, but I could leave her mother to do that!”
