Solange Knowles, younger sister of Beyoncé, was spotted on the red carpet at the BET Awards (see bottom right) and then later at The Interscope and A&M Records “Creme Of the Crop” BET Awards Afterparty in Beverly Hills. The party was held at Mr. Chow’s. Has anyone eaten there? I know it’s off-topic but I’ve always wanted to know if the food was really that good!

Rihanna at 2007 BET Awards
Kanye West and Rihanna are amongst those nominated at the forthcoming Black Entertainment Television Awards.Other musicians up for accolades include T-Pain, who received five nominations, Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige and Gnarls Barkley, who are nominated in the Best Group category.
The ceremony, due to take place at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium on June 24, is set to feature performances from Usher, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige and Lil’ Wayne.
The BET Awards, now in their eighth year, are held to celebrate black achievement in music, sport and the arts.
