In Touch Weekly seems to have a radar zeroed in on Angelina Jolies ovulation and pregnancy status. They broke the news of Jolie’s second pregnancy with twins and they are standing firm that the actress is expecting another child in the new year.

Jolie and Pitt already parent three adopted children, Maddox, Pax and Zahara and three biological children, Shiloh and infant twins Vivienne and Knox.

Recently, Jolie has given several interviews about her desire to expand their family even further. And during the launch of DVD Kung Fu Panda last week, she was quoted as saying, ‘Anything could happen. We’re open to anything, we love kids and we’re having a great time. It’s chaos in our house, but it’s so much fun. We’ll definitely have more.‘

It seems to be official now - according to Variety, Brad Pitt has officially signed on to play a role in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Bastards.

Hang on. I have to go breathe into a paper bag. Brad Pitt and Quentin Tarantino. This makes me SO HAPPY.

Okay, all better now.

According to the article, most of the movie will be in French or German with subtitles; however, Brad will still speak English, playing a “Tennessee hillbilly who assembles a team of eight Jewish-American soldiers to take on the Nazis”.

There had been rumors that Leonardo DiCaprio would be cast in a role as well, though there is no mention of it now; he may have had scheduling conflicts. Casting is predicted to be finished within the next couple of weeks.

Because of the location of the film itself, it makes sense for Brad to choose to take on this role. By the time actual filming gets started, the babies will be a bit older and filming will be done nearby, in parts of France and Germany, so hopefully the Jolie-Pitt family will be able to remain at the chateau.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may not be novice parents but they’re new to the world of twins and it seems a lot of people are shouting out with words of wisdom, advice, good cheer, and even babysitting offers.

This week’s issue of People magazine has Brad and Angie on the cover (actually so does every other weekly magazine that I saw in the store today), which you can see here. Inside, Wyclef Jean, a friend of Angelina said “I’m willing to babysit for them!” which is a brave offer when there are six kids! Babysitting aside, he feels they’ll be more than able to handle the large group of children, saying “they will do well”.

Meanwhile, People also interviewed an everyday non-celebrity family who have something in common with the Jolie-Pitt family in that they had four children already when they added twins to their family. They advised them that sleep is even more elusive with twins, that they often didn’t get to bed until 1 am by the time they got all the kids to sleep and took care of their own things, and that the father fell asleep while being driven, blindfolded, to a surprise party just because he was so incredibly tired.

Even the family’s eight-year-old daughter was able to give a piece of advice to Maddox Jolie-Pitt. She said, “The babies may stink up the house a little, and they might make some noise. It may be hard, but being the oldest of six can be fun.”

How cute is that?

One of my favorite sites for general pop culture news and gossip is PopSugar. This week they released their top 100 celebrities. Guess who made an appearance on their list?

Oh except, they didn’t just appear - Brad Pitt ranked in at number two. They refer to him as an A-lister who is getting better with age, and I couldn’t agree more. They also mention his underrated film, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and his two upcoming films, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Burn After Reading. Naturally, they pointed out how he also balances his busy work life so well with his most important role - being a dad - and being a humanitarian.

And, as should be expected, considering the baited breath around the world while everyone waited for her to give birth, Angelina Jolie came in at number one. They mentioned her status as a great mom and a humanitarian first and foremost, then pointed out that she continues to impress on the screen as well. Angie also ranked as PopSugar’s number one female star of 2007, so clearly she’s on a role!

No surprises, really!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie welcomed their twins, a girl, Vivienne Marcheline and a boy, Knox Leon, Saturday night.

The obstetrician who delivered the twins by C-Section, Dr. Michel Sussmann, reported that the actress, the babies and baby daddy, Brad Pitt, “are doing marvelously well.”

The doctor confirmed the weight of the twins as the boy weighing 5.03 pounds and the girl 5 pounds.

Pitt was there during the operation, said the doctor, who delivered the twins at the seaside Lenval hospital in Nice in southern France.

The Cesarian was moved forward from its originally planned date “for medical reasons” so that the babies could be born “in the best conditions.”  No further details were given.

I love the names - especially Knox. I wonder what the reasoning is behind that?  I’m guessing it has something to do with Brad Pitt and his family roots.

Wow, what an exciting weekend and how exciting for Brad and Angelina.  To have the perfect balance in their family.  Three boys, three girls, three biological and three adopted.  I wonder if that will inspire them to quit there?

Well, I’m calling this story somewhat true, somewhat false. Rumors are a flying that Angelina Jolie is DEMANDING a C-section pronto because she is just tired of being pregnant. Rumors are also flying that she’s being demanding and demeaning to staff at the hospital in France, that she’s being a diva, etc.

Okay, first of all, SHE’S NINE MONTHS PREGNANT WITH TWINS. Give the woman a break. At that point in my pregnancy I was basically a quivering, sobbing mess of hormonal Jello. I cried over everything, I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t eat, and basically was the bride of Satan. Plus, when you’ve got twin spawn stepping on your bladder all the live long day you just aren’t in the mood to be Miss Mary Sunshine, kwim? So I don’t doubt that she’s a little, ahem, “emotional” at this point, but I’m sure whatever we’re reading is highly, HIGHLY exaggerated.

I waffled back and forth about whether to post this because it’s so incredibly intrusive, but I figured I’ll write about it and let you decide whether to go see the pictures or not.

Angelina Jolie is most definitely still pregnant and there is photographic proof. After the whole ET debacle, many people were saying that Angie should “prove” that she hadn’t given birth yet by going out in public and letting herself be seen. As though she owes us photos to demonstrate that she’s still pregnant. I couldn’t believe the sense of entitlement so many people in the media had, as though she’s a piece of property to parade around.

Anyway, Angelina had said she planned to lay low after Cannes and she has kept her word to herself, enjoying private time with her family in the chateau in France. And while we all miss seeing her and the kids out and about, it’s a good thing for her to just be relaxing with her family in these last weeks before the twins arrive.

However, I guess some people are just desperate since In Touch magazine has now published photos of Angelina Jolie and her very pregnant belly with Zahara and Shiloh as they played outside on the weekend.

The whole purpose of renting this particular home was because of the incredible privacy and the only photos we were ever able to see were aerial shots. Clearly some paparazzi agency rented a freakin’ helicopter to take photos of Angelina Jolie on her own private property.

I’m really frustrated by this. Yes, it’s nice to see photos of any of the Jolie-Pitt family but I don’t like or condone being disrespectful at this level. It’s one thing to take their pictures out on the street. If Angie had strolled down to the front gates to wave at all the cameras, that would be fine. But she was inside the property and photographed from above. There’s something very disturbing about that.

I know celebrities are in the limelight but surely there’s a line where things go too far. Can you imagine not even being able to be in your own yard without worrying about cameras?

Anyway. Nothing can be done about it at this point. So Angelina is still very pregnant. I just would have preferred to believe that on my own without intrusive photos to prove a point.

Today must be a special day in the Jolie-Pitt household - today, Wednesday, is Angelina Jolie’s birthday! Our favorite celebrity mother turns 33 years old.

The Jolie-Pitt family have been keeping relatively quiet lately, obviously enjoying the peace and privacy that their newly leased French chateau has been offering them, and thank goodness for that. I can’t imagine a better birthday present than to just be able ot hang out and enjoy your family and your special day without 500 cameras trying to get a picture of you. If photos are being taken I hope it’s just because Brad Pitt is holding the camera and taking shots for posterity!

Angelina had a whirlwind time at Cannes last month and the London premiere of Wanted is next week; while it’s still unknown whether Angie will be in attendance, there’s a good possibility since it’s not far for her to go to London from the South of France, and if she goes to that, she will probably be relishing a quiet birthday.

Happy birthday Angelina Jolie, from everyone here at PittWatch! I hope Brad, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh spoil you with a special day!

A few more people have been writing about Mischa Barton’s snub of her movie premiere, You and I, in Cannes. According to the reports, Mischa Barton pulled out of many interviews and photo opportunities that were scheduled for her during the film festival. Roland Joffe says Mischa has "pulled out of everything… We don’t know where Mischa Barton is!" Despite the obvious frustration that must cause, he thinks Mischa is just 21, and the vanishing act is something to be expected of her.

An aide to the film says it was a "nightmare" trying to track Mischa down and to cancel all the interviews.

"She didn’t even show up, not even for one minute, at the gigantic party we threw just for her in Cannes."

t.a.T.u. stars Julia and Lena attended the premiere and described the film not as a lesbian film, but as a "love film."

Mischa Barton did not attend the premiere, but others did. Pictured at the You and I premiere on May 16th are Roland Joffe, Julia Volkova and Lena Katina of t.A.T.u and Aleksandr Byelonogov. One more after the jump…

As you know, Mischa Barton skipped the premiere of You and I at the Cannes Film Festival. While telling producers she was going home, she instead ended up going to some parties. As reported earlier, Mischa said it was because she wasn’t required to go. Other people are reporting that Mischa thinks the movie is awful. What do you think about this?
