Michael Phelps has taken the big plunge with with his girlfriend and has taken her home to spend Thanksgiving in Baltimore with him and his family.

The Olympic champ and American golden boy has been dating Las Vegas cocktail waitress Caroline “Caz” Pal, 26, for nearly two months. The two met after his record-setting performance in Beijing last summer.

I don’t know about you, but two months seems awfully quick to be bringing someone home - but I’ve heard of whirlwind romances before - hopefully Michael’s family will be able to put Caz to the test and see what the girl is made of.

According to the National Enquirer, Mary-Kate Olsen has all but forgotten about her NYC-based artist boyfriend Nate Lowman and is now focusing her romantic efforts on Apatowian funnyman and Superbad star Jonah Hill.

A source saw the twosome together at the Chateau Marmont, and says they were “totally enamored” with each other.

“It was a shock to see Mary-Kate together with, of all people, geeky Jonah,” their source claims. “They were on a double date with another couple, dining at the hotel around 10 p.m. Mary-Kate and Jonah sat close together and seemed totally into each other. They were both wearing plaid shirts that almost matched. It was the cutest thing.”

What bohers me about this is that Jonah and MK have known each other for years and years–they went to the same high school. So unless this source saw them making out, I seriously doubt it was more than just friends catching up and having a good time.

That’s right ladies and gentlemen - Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi will tie the knot this weekend in California.

The happy couple are planning a small, intimate ceremony with only a few close friends and family.

The pair began dating in December 2004 and have waited for the California Supreme Court’s monumental ruling that same sex couple’s have the “right to marry.”

Following the Supreme Court’s decision, DeGeneres announced she planned to wed her longtime girlfriend on a taping of her show in May.

I’ll admit, I was a little heartbroken when learning that Pink and motocross racing husband, Carey Hart were splitting.

While there may be a little wild child in both of them, I knew there was a softer side lurking deep down.

While making an appearance at the opening of his new Las Vegas club, Wasted Space, in the Hard Rock Hotel Hart commented, “It’s a tough situation to be in but I love her to death.”

It doesn’t sound like he’s jumped right back into the dating scene either.

Hart confesses he still misses his ex. “I miss everything about her,” he says. And in the wake of their split, “I became a workaholic,” says the motocross star. “I work 19 hours a day.”

I do hope they end up getting back together.

Has Kate Moss split from Jamie Hince?

The couple had been dating for ten months and they reportedly hit a speed bump during the 4th of July weekend after a heated fight in the early hours of Saturday morning.

By that afternoon, he was seen moving his stuff out of her home in North London.

This has got to have something to do with that dumb song that Pete Doherty wrote for her, doesn’t it? Dude just won’t give it up.

They’ll probably be back together as soon as I hit publish.

Jessica Simpson has taken oodles of heat these days for wearing that imfamous “Real Girls Eat Meat” shit. PETA’s been all over her hide, Pam Anderson called her a BLEEP!, and now one writer says, “Real Girls Don’t Get Sassy on T-Shirts.”

I was wondering when it would come to this.

Because while I like a little sass in the Simpson girls, now that Jessica has decided to go into country music, she needs all the country friends she can find. The writer of this one particular story bascially says Jess should be nice to Carrie Underwood because you should be nice to everyone.

Can’t argue with that.

Even though Carrie is clearly the type of chick to do her snippiness behind people’s back (emailing your ex-beau to the point of distraction while he’s dating another gal, for example)…. she hasn’t said or done anything in public. It’s got to be hard to swallow, to be sure, and I blame Tony Romo in all this the most. Why can’t he be a stand up guy, turn down the ex-girlfriend chats, and pay attention to the one he has now? Why can’t he either break up with Jess for good, or commit to her? Perhaps he likes the drama.

Either way, this just reinforces my belief that Jess should dump this dude while the dumping is good. And not piss off anymore country pals, either, thanks very much.

When asked about her tattoos: Rihanna explained the new tattoo on her left shoulder: “They’re Roman numerals. Me and my best friend got the same thing. It’s her date of birth and she has mine.”

When asked about Chris Brown: “We hang out a lot. We’re very close. He’s an amazing person but we are not dating. We’re very close friends, though. Very, very close.”

She’s still sticking with the “close friends” title, be we all know the deal!
