You may want to think twice before Googling Jessica Alba’s name again. According to a recent research conducted by Internet security company McAfee, Alba is ranked among “The 15 most dangerous celebrities to search for on the Web”.

Jessica ranked #6 with “Red-ranked risky sites were identified when searching for “Jessica Alba” and “Jessica Alba downloads.” The sites contained hundreds of malicious downloads, links to other bad sites, misleading offers to gather information, and a high number of spam emails when an email address was provided.”

According to EOnline, Fergie and Josh Duhamel are DUNZO. Rumor has it that the engaged pair are on the outs and looking to make a peaceful and publicity-free exit; both of their reps denied it, of course, but I have a feeling we’re going to get confirmation sometime this week.

On the third day of the Democratic National Convention the Black Eyed Peas had the honor of performing. They were part of an event hosted by the Creative Coalition at The Fillmore Auditorium in Denver. Other celebrities that were at the event included Tim Daly, Ellen Burstyn, Adam Rodriguez, Kal Penn and Kerry Washington.

According to the Associated Press, Thursday evening Fergie was spotted on the floor of the Broncos stadium before Barack Obama’s highly anticipated acceptance speech. Several fans in the crowd were heard calling out her name.

She seemed to be very fired up for the convention. Fergie also talked about how inspired she was by Hilary Clinton’s speech two nights earlier. She said that Clinton “really spoke to me as a woman. And I think she spoke to a lot of people in that way.”

Fergie might have also been there to see her bandmate Will.I.Am perform with John Legend leading up to the appearance of Barack Obama.

Although Kanye West was also in concert Wednesday in Denver, the Peas drew a much more A-List crowd. According to FOX news, stars such as Anne Hathaway, Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins could be seen rockin out to the over two hour show. Sorry Kanye, but it sounds like you lost this popularity contest!

As you all know, Fergie was in attendance for Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama’s speech Thursday night in Denver. She was apparently inspired and moved by the experience. Fergie told the Associated Press after the speech that “It was amazing. It was excellent,”

Fergie also happened to be there in support of Will.I.Am who performed earlier in the evening with John Legend. On Tuesday night she performed with the Black Eyed Peas at The Fillmore Auditorium. She has been a busy bee in support for her candidate!

Fergie’s bandmate Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas will be on MTV this fall. There is a new talent search show called MTV’s Top Pop Group starting next month. It will be hosted by Mario Lopez and the judges will be Taboo, Michelle Williams from Destiny’s Child and choreographer Brian Friedman.

The point of the show will be to find the next great pop group. Taboo obviously has some experience in this field and should hopefully have some good advice for the contestants. The show will premiere September 11 on MTV. There will be nine groups featured as contestants. The winners will receive $100,000 and the possibility of fame and success. Tune in September 11 to see Taboo on the show and don’t forget to vote for your favorite pop group. The winner will be ultimately chosen by voting from the viewer audience.

Fergie must have never heard the old adage about not repeating the same fashion — because she’s set to perform at Condé Nast’s Fashion Rocks for the third year running this fall.

Fergie Ferg won’t be the only repeat offender. The Black Eyed Peas, who joined her on one song two years ago, will also headline along with Beyoncé, who headlined in 2006 too.

Also coming back to the Fashion Rocks stage are Mariah Carey (who headlined in 2005) and Rihanna (who performed with Elton John in 2006). But this year’s show will have some new energy from the likes of Justin Timberlake, Duffy, Chris Brown and Lil Wayne for the event’s fifth anniversary. Keith Urban and Kid Rock are also on the bill.

The concert will take place September 5 at New York’s Radio City Music Hall and will be taped as a two-hour program to air four nights later, September 9, on CBS. Proceeds from the event will benefit Stand Up to Cancer.

According to a number of sources, including MSNBC, Fergie has been signed to join the cast of the movie adaptation from the Broadway show Nine. Nine is an autobiographical take on the life of Fredrico Fellini and it was adapted from the Fellini movie 8 1/2. Is anyone out there as confused as me? (The director wrote a book, on which he based the movie 8 1/2. Then it was adapted to be a Broadway play called Nine, now it’s becomming a different movie called Nine…)

Oh, well, whatever… It’s a musical and Fergie has landed one of the lead characters. This is a big deal for fans of Fergie!!

Among the other cast members for the movie are such notable actors as Daniel Day-Lewis, Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Sophia Loren, Nicole Kidman and Judi Dench and Kate Hudson.

I’ll update you with more information as the details are released.
