Ashley Olsen was seen leaving Orso, a trendy restaurant in LA, last night with Justin Bartha and pal Estee Stanley (who looks very pregnant!) and her husband. Ashley was wearing a fedora and hid her face from the cameras the entire time.

I love Ashley, but wouldn’t life be easier if she just didn’t hide from the paparazzi? They’re taking photos anyway. But then again, I’m not a celebrity and will never understand what it’s like to have cameras in my face 24/7.

First, Ashley Simpson was seeking advice from friend and new mom, Nicole Richie, now her husband Pete Wentz is looking to make it a full-on family affair by soliciting advice from Joel Madden.

“Joel gives me advice,” Pete told People on Tuesday. “[It’s] been really awesome for me to go to another person my age.”

Pete is totally right. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of young families in Hollywood, especially ones that understand the pressures of fame and what that means for your child. I think this foursome is a great match and will be able to learn a lot from each other.

It was suppose to be a long boring family reunion at my sister's place. Please don't mistake me for I love my family more then anything else; it is just that I hate the so called rituals to show my love to my family. It has always been the same over the years; my sisters exchanging notes on their latest jewelry purchases, their husbands upping the ante in the race to be the best son-in-law, and their children braying for my blood, each determined to have a piece of their only uncle. It isn’t that I don’t love my nieces and nephews; it is just that I love my solitariness more then anything else, and secretly, I don’t liked being called uncle by so many children because each time they call me I am reminded of my advancing age, lol.

So began the journey toward my sister’s place just outside Imphal with cars full bright excited eyes including mine. This was my second visit to her place since she moved in some weeks ago, but the first visit was just that, a visit and nothing else. This time as I neared her house I felt the magic of the place. As the meandering, ascending road led us toward my sister’s house the misty blue hills from afar turns into various shades of green, like a slow motion magician’s performance in progress. We could actually see white pieces of heaven kissing the ever so eager hill tops; a brazen love making act suitable for all to watch and appreciate, from my two and half year old nephew to my seventy year old father. The spray of tiny droplets of drizzle was the perfect welcome for us dusty city folks.

As the day progressed I never expected any meaningful topic to come up in all the chatter-chatters. But somehow one conversation led my host sister to say… No parents should expect anything from their children. Of course, children should always be prepared to be there when their parents need them. And parents should find satisfaction in that and should expect nothing more. I am so glad my sister said that and I am even gladder that my mom fully agreed with her. I will now feel a lot less guilty if I never get married or if I decide to live a gay couple life.

As we drive back through the same meandering road, the food that we ate was having an effect on all of us, and I saw sleepy faces all around me. They are faces I have seen a zillion times, and yet I never get bored looking at them. They are faces that make me who I am; I am their son, their brother, their brother-in-law, and their uncle. I love them all. It was a moment where I can easily get carried away and say that I will give up anything, even my gay life, to make them happy. But the question is: do they really want me to give up anything in my life to make them happy?

The word is in…Christina Aguilera will be performing at Donald Trump’s lavish Bel-Air estate this Saturday night as Mr. Trump and His Excellency Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem host a celebrity-filled launch party for their new Dubai property.

Expected celebrities include Orlando Bloom, Russell Crowe, Aaron Eckhart, Ali Larter, Hayden Panettiere, Hilary Swank, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (did you know Hilary and Arnold share the same birthday?), Kate Walsh and undoubtedly many, many more!

Performing will be Christina Aguilera with DJ-ing by Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz aka Ashlee Simpson’s husband.

It seems like the reality series bug has bitten former Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen co-star Jodie Sweetin.

Could she be following in the footsteps of Jessica Simpson and Tori Spelling?  And does the world hate Jodie as much as Tori that they would tune in week after week to see what activities go on in the Sweetin/Herpin household?

Jodie Sweetin and her husband Cody Herpin have confirmed that they are going to start filming in a couple of months and that this will be their family affair through their day to day life with 7-week-old baby girl, Zoie Laurelmae Herpin whom Jodie gave birth to via emergency caesarian.

I’m not sure Jodie has enough of a following to make a reality show quite as successful as Tori and Dean - mostly because Jodie is such a good girl and frankly, no one buys the Leave it to Beaver storylines anymore.  Though I could be surprised.

For some reason that’s beyond all comprehension, beautiful Beth Ostrosky will be taking the walk down the aisle this weekend to wed her fiance’ of just over a year, Howard Stern.

Howard Stern is a radio show host and shock jock and shock is what he does best - besides looking like a washed up has-been.

Beth and Howard became engaged Valentine’s Day of 2007.

The couple plan on following suit of many other celebrities who opt for multiple ceremonies.  The first ceremony will be in the Hampton’s in front of family and friends and will undoubtedly a lavish event. In October the couple will throw a more “intimate” affair.

Mark Consuelos, Kelly Ripa’s husband, is actually an ordained minister and he is the one that will marry Beth Ostrosky and Howard Stern. When asked if Regis would also be in attendance, Beth said, “It’s not that kind of thing. It’s spiritual.”

For those who may be wondering, Stern is 54 and Beth Ostrosky is 36, that’s a whopping 18 years difference.  Albeit it looks to be about 100 years age difference.

Either way, you’ve just gotta wish them well.

Lisa Marie Presley, 40, writes for she and husband Michael Lockwood, 45, when she says they are “beyond thrilled and blessed, elated and saturated in happiness” over the twins they will welcome in the fall.

Following months of horrible images being plastered in tabloids, the daughter of Elvis Presley steps up and sounds off with a beautiful and artful spread in the upcoming Marie Claire issue.

Lisa Marie had not blogged since May.  Friday August 8, she expressed her gratitude to fans for well wishes.

Presley and Lockwood wed in January 2006, this will be the first children together. “Thank you so much for all of the amazing positive energy and beautiful well wishes,” she writes, adding, “We love reading them.”

Rapper and husband of Beyonce, Jay-Z, shared his opinion on the 2008 U.S presidential elections,stating that he would feel "sorry and sad for the state of America", if Democratic candidate, Barack Obama, were to lose in the upcoming elections. However, he has said that he doesn’t want people to vote for Obama just because he’s black.

"The worst thing ever for black people would be to put someone in who wasn’t capable. (But) what he represents to a little kid in Marcy Projects (in Brooklyn, New York) right now is to make him feel like he’s part of America. We never felt like we were part of the American dream."

I totally agree. Personally, I am rooting for Barack. I’d hate to see people voting for him just because he’s black. Are any of you rooting for Obama?

Broadway star Marissa Jaret Winokur and her husband Judah Miller are celebrating the birth of their first child. Marissa’s surrogate gave birth to son Zev Isaac Miller on Tuesday July 22. He weighed 8 lb. 7 oz. and measured 21 inches.

“He’s got a Winokur face and a Miller body,” the proud mama told People magazine.

“My little miracle baby is here and I can’t believe it. I can’t believe I am sitting here next to my baby. This is the one thing that’s been missing from our lives. Now our house is really going to be a home.”

Marissa was diagnosed with cervical cancer seven years ago, a battle which required the removal of her uterus and part of her cervix. However her ovaries remained intact, allowing her to produce a biological child with her husband.

I am so thrilled for this happy family. They’ve travelled a difficult road to get her, and it’s so wonderful to hear how happy they are together.
