With 4 high profile celebs recently cashing in on their newborn photos it was just a matter of time before someone spoke publicly against it just for the attention.
Meryl Streep was the one to get some attention for speaking against it. In a recent interview Streep said that whether it is for personal gain or charity, nothing would compare to maintaining kid’s privacy and parents should never do so.
Streep told Contactmusic, “One thing I learned very early on is when you are famous, you lose your right to privacy. And, if you promote your children, if you have them photographed, then they lose their rights.”
On ‘living’ with the paparazzi, Streep said, “They can follow me, take a picture, whatever they want to do. But my kids, no.”
Jamie Lynn Spears along with Brangelina, Jessica Alba and Matthew McConaughey have recently sold the exclusivity to their newborn first photos for a total of over $17 million. Do you think this is a wrong thing to do?

After months of speculations and denials from Jessica Alba we hear that a deal was closed between OK Magazine and Jessica Alba (& Cash) for the publication of Honor Marie Warren’s first photoshoot.
But wait, there’s more. TMZ reports that the $1.5 Million deal includes 2 photoshoots from 2 different events. One in the next week or so and another during another event (Christmas/Thanksgiving/Etc).
We’re hearing the two-part deal consists of pictures of the baby now, and one other “event” — Christmas, Thanksgiving, vacation, etc. Our spy said Jessica initially turned down the offers of several weekly mags, not wanting to sell, but eventually caved. Two-month-old Honor, we’re told, is just “adorable” and the pictures, taken this week, are “so cute.”
OK Magazine have been spending big bucks lately on such photo deals. They got published a Jamie Lynn Spears set this week and are rumored to have paid Matthew McConaughey $3 Million for a similar set.

You can see the first photos of Maddie Briann here. Jamie Lynn Spears looks like she’s holding her little sister. I still find this whole thing very sad.
In an accompanying article, Jamie had a few things to say about what kind of parent she plans on being:
“Mama has been here a bunch,” she said. “She wants to see the baby all the time. She told me the doctors are always going to be real strict and tell you, `Don’t do this and don’t do that.’ Just follow your instincts. You’re the mother and you know what your baby needs. That’s what I’ve done and it seems to have worked.”….”I would love being the soccer mom,” she said. “They don’t have soccer down here, but I would love being the softball mom driving the kids around.” - source
I’m just…..wow. Wow. Thanks, Jamie Lynn, for making pregnancy seem fun and glamorous to all the girls out there who don’t have the big bucks to have their own house with their live-in boyfriend at age 16 and have big sister pay all the bills. And what ambition you have, to be a Southern Soccer Mom! Really, I’m proud of you. Seriously, I am so glad that the Spears family is getting the respect they deserve with the constant white trash decisions that seem to be their trademark….it gives me hope that maybe, one day, if I’m lucky, MY kids will strip naked on stage, have a series of mental breakdowns, get pregnant at 16, and make millions of dollars at the same time! Something to look forward to!

I love this story… Remember the report that Jamie Lynn Spears left the hospital yesterday afternoon in a car driven by Casey Aldridge? Well that was just to confuse the enemy…
While the media was flooded with rumors that Jamie Lynn will not go home after the birth everyone expected her to go to Serenity. Well their car did go to Serenity but Jamie Lynn was not in the car…
OK reports today:
Many reporters and photographers fell victim to a well-choreograped ruse, which had Casey and Lynne drive back to Serenity with a Jamie Lynn look-alike in the back of the car, thus allowing mom and daughter to make their exit in private, driven separately by private security guards and escorted by state troopers back to their home in Liberty.

Exactly 48 hours after taking her first breath, baby Maddie Briann headed back home with her mom, Jamie Lynn Spears.
According to USMag the two were driven by Casey Aldridge in a white Range Rover and were sitting in the back seat. They left the hospital at 1:40 a.m. and received full a police escort on their way to Lynn’s house (Serenity) where they will spend the next week or so.
“They’re doing terrific,” said a source for PEOPLE magazine. “The baby’s got 10 fingers and 10 toes … and a full head of hair. She’s long, a tall baby, and she weighs 7 lbs, 11 oz.”
The source added that when new grandmother, Joyce Aldridge, held the baby, she remarked that Maddie “has Casey’s toes.”

Contrary to many reports yesterday that Jamie Lynn Spears had her baby in a C-Section, OK Magazine confirmed this morning that this is untrue and that Maddie Briann Spears/Aldridge was born naturally at 9:33 a.m Thursday morning (6/19).
There are no new photos this morning of either family member and it seems as if the police crack-down worked.

Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiancé Casey Aldridge welcomed a baby girl, Maddie Briann earlier this morning.
“Just the family was there,” says a source about the birth around 9:30 a.m. at a hospital in Mississippi, near her Louisiana hometown. “Everyone is healthy and happy.”

Have any of you guys seen the movie “Idiocracy” per chance?
Anyways… Yep, it’s true - the 17 year-old Spears popped out her baby girl at a Mississippi hospital Thursday. Jamie Lynn and her supposed fiance Casey Aldridge went the not-at-all-trendy route and named their daughter Maddie Briann.
No word yet on whether mother and child will be sharing a pediatrician.
In related news, 17 insane high school girls in Massachusetts have gotten knocked up after forming a pregnancy pact. One of the girls (who are all age 16 or under) even conceived her little gift to the gene pool with the help of a 24 year-old homeless man!
Yep, the future is looking bright!
