Britney Spears's father intends to sell her Studio City home in the latest liquidation of her assets, it was revealed in Los Angeles probate court Tuesday.

The hilltop house, located in a gated community, has been the scene of the recent drama in the singer's life, including the night in January she was taken from the property in an ambulance and forced into a psychiatric hospital.

It was not immediately clear where she intends to move. But a source close to Spears said, "Having more privacy and wide open spaces for her to raise her boys has been a goal for some time."

In March, a court granted her father, Jamie Spears, the power to "sell or dispose of" an undisclosed number of her seven cars. Jamie remains in legal control of his daughter's affairs until a July 31 hearing.

Also, her court-appointed attorney, Samuel Ingham, said in court that Britney would be out of state for several days – but he did not offer an explanation of why or where.

Another source tells PEOPLE that Spears is set to head back to Louisiana this week to be by her sister Jamie Lynn Spears's side as the younger sibling welcomes her first child with fiancé Casey Aldridge.

Well, our little Jamie Lynn is reported to be having labor pains, although what the hell does a 16 year old know about birthin’ babies (ten points if you know where that convoluted quote came from). She’s in the last weeks of her pregnancy, and things are starting to HURT. I know I’m going to sound callous here, but I don’t feel bad for her at all. Babies having babies! Oh well. You know she’s going to pop out five more by the time she’s twenty, they’ll just start dropping out like that scene from Monty Python.

Jamie Lynn Spears is nearing the end of her pregnancy and sources say that she’s feeling “large and uncomfortable.”

Big sis Britney is concerned about Jamie Lynn and the heat. “Britney apparently called her recently and ordered her to stay inside, under the air conditioning, as much as possible. It was really cute,” the source said.

So Jamie Lynn could be giving birth at any time now… so I figured I’d start a Jamie Lynn Spears Birth Pool!! Guess the date of delivery, time the baby is born, and the baby’s birth weight. After the news arrives I’ll post the winner in each category and send you a little something!!

Bigger isn't always better.

Just ask poor Jamie Lynn Spears, who's feeling pretty uncomfortable now that she's nearing the end of her pregnancy.

"She's feeling so large and just feeling all the discomfort that comes with it," a source close to Jamie Lynn tells E! News.

The pregnant teen has also been hit with some mild cramps for the past two days, our insider says.

"Sounds like some false labor pains," says the friend. "But nothing serious enough to go to the hospital over. They called her doctor, but everything's fine."

At least the pregnant teen has plenty of support...

father Casey Aldridge is doing his best to make her feel better, rubbing her back when the cramps kick up, says our source. And her mom is at her side, pitching in with last-minute nursery decorating. But the humid summer heat plaguing Mississippi (where the parents-to-be own a home) isn't helping. Even a brief trip outdoors leaves her sticky with sweat.

"Britney apparently called her recently and ordered her to stay inside, under the air conditioning, as much as possible," the source says. "It was really cute."

Britney and father Jamie have been calling regularly to check in on the mommy-to-be, who is expected to deliver at the end of this month. Unless, of course, the baby's late.

How noble of him!

The former object of teenage girls’ affection, including my own, is speaking out on his own understanding of the plight of today’s stars, including Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Miley Cyrus.

Having been a child star himself, Kirk, now 37, says the pressure and trappings of fame are definitely hard to deal with under the spotlight. What’s worse is being a money-making “product” of media conglomerates.

Kirk has written a book that details having to fire his mother as his personal manager - having to work with the FBI to trap a pedophile who was seeking him out and much more.

I can’t imagine wanting to put my kids in harms way as a childhood star and I don’t think there’s any amount of money that could persuade me to.  I guess that’s the difference between those who parent for real and those who would rather give birth to their job.

Have you or anyone you know ever under pressure to call off a wedding for whatever reason? I know I have and to be honest, it totally sucks, doesn’t it?

Well is seems as if the pressure that was put on Jamie Lynn Spears to (at least) delay the wedding worked and she decided to pause all plans for upcoming wedding.

One witness for In Touch overheard Jamie Lynn saying “I don’t want to get married with a big bump under my dress.” Another “witness” mentioned a “continued tension between Jamie Lynn and her mother Lynn” on the wedding issue as the reason for the delay.

Jamie Lynn Spears is due within the next few weeks and according to reports she (and boyfriend Casey Aldridge) have been spending the last couple of weeks considering names and furnishing their new house.

According to the report Jamie Lynn decided to follow her mother’s (& sister) steps and is considering 2 word names with Emma Jean currently at the top of their list - a name that pays tribute to Jamie Lynn’s grandmother.

The two were recently spotted furniture shopping for their new home which they recently purchased for $300,000 in Liberty, Miss. The two were seen in Ashley Furniture where a source overheard Casey saying “We’ll have the rest of our lives together, we’ll be buying another one eventually.” They finally decided on the Toscana dining room for $900.

When it comes to home decorating one insider claims that Jamie Lynn has an allowance of up to $10,000 a day - to shop with. “Jamie Lynn has been on a home-decorating spree,” says a friend. “She’s already purchased a canopy for the bedroom and another bedroom set so that Casey’s friends can stay over.”

An insider says that currently Emma Jean is at the top of their list-a name that pays tribute to her paternal grandmother.

I’m not sure how I feel about Emma Jean Aldridge as a name. It sounds very plain.

And surprisingly enough it’s not something like Little Cheeto, Bubba, Billy Joe Bobby, or Cletus the Fetus.

Insiders - basically people who are paid to report on their friends - are reporting that the name Emma Jean is at the top of the list. I kind of like that name, but I was really hoping for something completely white trashtacular. Such as:

• Misty Lee
• Baby Hooker

It seems that people are starting to worry about the safety of Jamie Lynn Spears‘ little girl - ever since she was spotted on an ATV at 8 months pregnant!

“ATV-ing is a way of life out here,” a neighbor tells Life & Style. “But it’s a bumpy ride.”

One ob-gyn, Dr. Valerie Ratts, says that it’s a bad idea. “It’s very dangerous for a woman in her third trimester to be riding a ATV,” she tells Life & Style. “You put both lives at risk.”

Friends are also claiming that Jamie Lynn continues to party and go out at night. “Her mom is worried that Jamie’s partying isn’t good for her,” says an insider, “or her child.”
