Hilary Duff will be attending the Power of Youth event on Saturday October 4th in LA, sponsored by Variety and Target. The event will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.
"Target Presents Variety’s Power of Youth campaign is a powerful one which has the opportunity to generate millions of dollars and create a bedrock of social awareness within the next generation of entertainment," said Brian Gott, Variety associate publisher.
According to Variety, Hilary Duff will join stars such as the Jonas Brothers, Mrianda Cosgrove, Miley Cyrus, Dakota and Elle Fanning, Demi Lovato, Corbin Bleu, Eliza Dushku, Olivia Thirlby, Ashley Tisdale and Emma Roberts. Patients from St. Jude and their families will attend live performances, play games and activities, and eat together. A limited number of tickets will go to the public.
Power of Youth has raised more than $600,000 to date for St. Jude and encourages young individuals to take action in their communities. Something Hilary does a lot of with her charity work.

The Jonas Brothers recently finished their tour with Avril Lavigne, but in a recently published interview, here’s what they had to say about working with Avril. The date of the interview indicates that it was published this past weekend, but must have been conducted while they were still on tour with her.
“Avril is amazing and the tour is going incredible so far,” Nick Jonas says. “We’re having so much fun meeting new fans out here in Europe. And, so far, it has been incredible and it’s amazing to watch her set and just see how many hits she has. As you listen to her song at the beginning it’s like, ‘Wait a minute, I know that song too.’ It’s incredible.”
Joe Jonas also says he knew most of her material, but also sees another side to Lavigne.
“As a person, she is really nice and she watched our show and she really enjoyed, it,” he says. “So, we’re looking forward to continue touring with her.”

Rumor has it that Ali Lohan will be making a cameo appearance in the music vieo “Love Bug” by the Jonas Brothers.
The music video is set to premier on August 22nd after the premiere of The Cheetah Girls: One World movie. The "Love Bug" song appears on the latest Jonas Brothers CD, "A Little Bit Longer" (out on August 12th).
The "Love Bug" music video is expected to include three old fashioned Bug cars (one for each Jonas brother) and cameos by Demi Lovato, Alyson Stoner and The Cheetah Girls (in addition to Ali Lohan).
