News of the World is reporting some rumors that Lindsay Lohan & Sam Ronson may be planning a wedding. They say that Dina Lohan is planning a private ceremony for later this year. Their source reveals that Lindsay has picked out a white mini dress by Chanel and that Sam would wear a suit with top hat. If it’s true, I’m very happy for them both!

Michael Lohan has gone on record talking about his involvement in any wedding that may or may not take place between Samantha Ronson & Lindsay Lohan. Despite his public apologies to Lindsay, saying he wouldn’t open his mouth on things like this, Michael Lohan made this statement:

"I haven’t heard anything (about an upcoming wedding) from Lindsay, but if she was marrying Sam, I don’t think she’d ask me to walk her down the aisle. She knows about my (Christian) faith … she just wouldn’t ask."

Michael is quick to say that he wants Lindsay to be happy and healthy and on the right path, and in discussions of Lindsay’s relationship will only re-iterate to her and others that he just wants Lindsay to be happy.

A recent tidbit from FoxNews questioned how far along Ashlee Simpson really is in her pregnancy. A reporter said she was “Fresh-faced and glowing, a makeup-free Simpson wore a long, flowing, boho dress, but that still didn’t hide her very remarkable baby bump.”

Well, gee…. some ladies just gain the weight a little faster than others. That’s all. (We think.) Of course given the nature of things we’ve heard about the baby, no baby, marriage, no wedding, honeymoon in basement, etc., etc., we’ll all just have to wait and see I guess.

We’ve talked about the self-help book Dayanara Torres has written, where she talks about trying to move on from her divorce from Marc Anthony.

Various media outlets have reviewed her book and interviewed her, and some, like this source, have even provided a few tidbits from the book. Like these:

• Let yourself feel the pain. A woman who hasn’t cried after divorce is a woman who hasn’t healed.

• Don’t rush into a new relationship. Wait until you’re in a happy, healthy peace.

IS Dayanara in a happy, healthy, place? WOULD she be writing a book about Marc Anthony if she had let go of regret?

And for those of you that think she’s being so great because she didn’t yak about Marc Anthony or J-Lo personally, it’s because she was “prevented by the court to discusss details of their failed marriage, so her book is more “self-help” and not “tell-all.” ~source

In other words, if she could have talked about details she probably would have.

If I’m sick of wedding rumors already, I can’t imagine how sick of this Nicole Richie and Joel Madden must be of it. Joel confirmed again, this time to People, that he and Nicole have no plans to get married any time soon. They are happy just as things are and are just enjoying being a family right now.

“We don’t have any plans for that right now,” Joel told the magazine on Wednesday. “We’re just happy, and we’re being a family, and that’s where we’re at right now. But marriage means something different to everyone.”

People rally shouldn’t be concerned that not wanting to get married means that Nicole and Joel are less committed to each other or to Harlow than other couples. It just means they are taking it slow, not letting social norms define them, and figuring out what’s best for them and their daughter.

I love this quote Joel gave to People about Harlow. He’s having the greatest time being a dad!

“It’s crazy,” he says, of being a father. “Every day she does something new. When she reaches for me, it’s awesome! Just watching her grow, it melts me!”

Rumors are a -buzzing around the webosphere about Jennifer Garner wanting to boot Ben Affleck out of the house. But Ben insists things are just peachy keen. Ben and Jen (Garner, not Lopez) just celebrated their third anniversary and says they’re taking some family time to get away from the spotlight.

Apparently Ben and the Mrs. celebrated the big “3″ with Ben’s buddy, Matt Damon. They cheered, they toasted, they paid the check and left.

What I’m thinking here is that maybe Ben doesn’t KNOW that Jen’s been looking for a new Mr. Right. After all, it’s been her pattern (much like J-Lo, unfortunately) to wind up with a new guy before she ever really breaks up with the last one.

I know Ben and Jen (Lopez, not Garner) are happy with their spouses now, but doesn’t a little tiny part of you still want to see them together?

Sure to fuel ongoing rumors that her marriage is on the rocks, Madonna was spotted out sans wedding ring while being chauffeured around New York City on Thursday (June 26).

According to recent reports, Madge has already met with high-powered British divorce attorney Fiona Shackleton (Shackleton represented Paul McCartney in his split from Heather Mills. He ended up paying Mills only $48.6 million of the $160 million sought by Mills.).

Joel Madden isn’t ready to walk down the aisle just yet. The couple have been the source of wedding rumors for months on end.

They welcomed their first child, Harlow, in January, but have been comfortable with the way things are for now.

Joel Madden issued a statement on his website dismissing reports that they had already gotten married. But he is hoping to end all of the speculation by announcing that they currently have no plans to make the trek down the aisle.

He says, “We don’t have any plans for that right now. We’re just happy, and we’re being a family, and that’s where we’re at right now. But marriage means something different to everyone. Right now we’re really happy and we’re concentrating on our family, and that’s what is making us happy right now. We’re moving at our own pace.”

Uma Thurman is engaged to Swiss financier Arpad Busson.

Her rep confirmed that Arpad popped the question to Uma and gave her a big insanely huge rock to seal the deal.

The ring is eight carats for the center stone surrounded by 20 smaller stones.

This will be the third marriage for Uma, who married Gary Oldman and Ethan Hawke previously. She has two children with Ethan. Arpad is no stranger to high profile bonds, either, he was dating supermodel Elle Macpherson, who he has two children with.

The couple met at a private dinner in Milan last year.

Cynthia Nixon has cleared the air about her alleged breast enhancement. “I was at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital for my ‘three-monthly’ checkup. I was in the Oncology Department. I guess they think that means plastic surgery,” explained Nixon, who is a breast cancer survivor. “We got a call from [the Post] asking if I’d had breast augmentation, and my publicist laughed at them and said, ‘No, of course not.’ But they printed it anyway. If I was going to get a boob job, wouldn’t it make sense that I’d get it before ‘Sex and the City‘? The story was totally false. It would be annoying and disheartening in any case, but particularly because I’ve been so open about my breast cancer.”

The actress also spoke about the recent legalization of same-sex marriage in California. She & her partner, Christine Marinoni, will not be going across country to get married because they’d “like to do it in New York, when it becomes legalized. Hopefully it won’t take 20 years.”

American Idol champ from the second season, Ruben Studdard has obtained a marriage license according to sources.  License was obtained Monday in Alabama.

Studdard, 29, arrived at the Shelby County Probate Office in Birmingham with fiance’ Surata Zuri McCants, 30, just before noon to fill out the appropriate paperwork and walked out with license in hand. Studdard is a Birmingham native.

While there is no immediate word on when they planned to marry, it’s safe to say Ruben will be a married man sometime in the next 30 days.  That’s the duration for which an Alabama marriage license is valid.

We wish the happy couple lots of love and happiness!
