Looks like the Maddens (Joel and Nicole Richie) have really become fast friends with Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson. The twosome were at the Ashlee and Pete’s wedding, and recently Nicole and Ashlee were out shoe shopping together.

And of course, the two couples are both entering parenthood. So it stands to reason that they’d be giving the Went’z some parenting advice. Pete says Joel Madden has been a great source of tips. Pete says, “”Joel gives me advice. (It’s) been really awesome for me to go to another person my age.”

First, Ashley Simpson was seeking advice from friend and new mom, Nicole Richie, now her husband Pete Wentz is looking to make it a full-on family affair by soliciting advice from Joel Madden.

“Joel gives me advice,” Pete told People on Tuesday. “[It’s] been really awesome for me to go to another person my age.”

Pete is totally right. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of young families in Hollywood, especially ones that understand the pressures of fame and what that means for your child. I think this foursome is a great match and will be able to learn a lot from each other.

The co-creator of Chuck, Chris Fedak sat down with Blast Magazine to talk about the upcoming season of the show. He didn’t reveal too much about Nicole Richie’s upcoming guest spot, but he did have some high praise for the tiny starlet.

“In episode 2.04 we have Nicole Richie who is really funny,” he said. “So we have a lot of really great guest stars coming on this year and it’s been a lot of fun to cut these people in and introduce them to our crazy world. The show really comes to life.”

I’m really excited to see Nicole on the show. Nicole has said that filming it was great fun, and all her co-stars were very impressed by her!

Yesterday was Wednesday, so you know what that means–photos of Nicole Richie heading into traffic school! Nicole looked cute wearing a fedora, leggings and an oversized sheer shirt. If you look closely, Nicole buttoned her shirt up wrong! She must have been in a real rush!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden enjoyed dinner at Nobu in Hollywood last night. They were not impressed by the paparazzi outside the restaurant, and Nicole did her best to hide her face as they left. Nicole was wearing a cute green top and Joel was in a plaid shirt.

Nobu is known for its celebrity sightings and paparazzi are a staple outside it. However, I would have no idea how I would react if I had cameras following nearly my every move. What would you do?

Here’s a video of the couple leaving. Joel is not impressed with the paparazzi at all. They really don’t give them space to get to their car.

Joel Madden spent the long weekend holed up at home with Nicole Richie and their daughter Harlow. However, he still found time to get out and about.

On August 28, Joel visited a photo shoot. I’m still unsure what the photo shoot is for, but Joel wore a black and white plaid shirt (plaid is very in right now) with a black fedora.

On August 30, Joel was seen at the Starbucks near him home in Glendale. He wore a baseball cap and striped tank top and was carrying two drinks to his car. I guess one of them was for Nicole!

Nicole Richie looked great with loose hair and a patchwork dress as she and Joel Madden attended the The Sephora Project Launch Party held at Zune L.A. in Los Angeles on September 3.

Joel looked pretty great too, with a blazer and sunglasses!

The Sephora Project is beauty giant Sephora’s way of reaching out and helping underprivileged women with important issues facing their daily lives. They are partnering with several non-profit organizations like Girls For A Change, in hopes to inspire and empower women of all ages. I think this is an awesome project and it’s great to see Nicole and Joel opening supporting it.

UK’s The Daily Star is reporting that Nicole Richie’s doctors have told her to quit breast-feeding six-month-old Harlow because they fear Nicole is losing too much weight and it’s affecting her health.

Losing tons of weight while breast-feeding is completely common, especially when someone has a naturally small frame, like Nicole. While I don’t necessarily believe this rumor, it’s great to see that Nicole is taking care of herself and going to the doctor regularly. She needs to be strong and healthy to run after Harlow. I can’t believe Harlow is six months old already!

In photo news, Nicole was spotted going to yoga yesterday with a personal instructor.

The British OK! Magazine is really pushing the Nicole Richie is prego with her second child rumor lately. Earlier this month, they posted a set of photos “revealing” a bump, and today, they did it again.

They examined the pictures of Nicole and Joel heading into the studio on Wednesday and point to a tiny bulge in Nicole’s stomach as evidence.

Nicole Richie had her weekly traffic school class yesterday. She looked cute and casual as she walked into class with a bodyguard. She’s been doing her traditional boho chic look a lot lately, and I love it.
