Bit by bit we are learning more about Nicole Richie’s role on Chuck. We now she’s a cheerleader who was the high-school nemesis of Agent Sarah Walker and there’s a big, bloody showdown. We now know that this showdown takes place in the showers of a high school locker room!

“At first it was a little cold and then it would warm up,” Yvonne Strahovski, who plays Sarah Walker, told ET. “It probably took a few hours to shoot. The fight scenes usually take a while to shoot because we have to get the stunt doubles in to do a take.”

Yvonne also praised Nicole for her work on the show–and isn’t the first cast member to do so!

“[Nicole] was really on it,” Yvonne said. “She has a dance background, so her choreography skills were really great. It was one of the easy ones to film.”

This is awesome news! Nicole will be in the fourth episode of the season. The premiere is Monday, September 29. So, if my math is correct, Nicole will be on the show on October 20!

Nicole Richie got in on the Good Charlotte video blogging action and made a video of her own! The video has some super-cute photos of Harlow backstage and on the tour bus with Joel. There’s also shots of the band performing.

Below is a paparazzi video of Nicole Richie leaving a Good Charlotte concert on July 19. The boys were playing The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA. The first part of the video shows Joel coming down the stairs. A few moments later, Nicole emerges from underneath the stairs with Joel. Then a couple comes out with a baby (most likely not Harlow), then the video shows Nicole and Joel driving away.

Doing her best Nicole Richie impersonation, Hilary Duff was spotted doing a little retail therapy in the Glendale district of Los Angeles, California yesterday (July 7).

The “War, Inc.” beauty looked totally hippie-chic, dressed in a patchwork circa-1960s-style blue sundress with a big brown belt and a pair of retro-looking sunglasses.

Nicole Richie spent the past few days on the set of Chuck, filming her guest role. Nicole is playing Agent Sarah Walker’s high school nemesis, Heather Chandler. Apparently, their high school rivalry gets refueled and there is even a fight scene between Nicole and actress Yvonne Strahovski, People reports.

Nicole got along fantastically with everyone on-set. “She was friendly,” says their source. “Everybody loved her.”

So much so, in fact, that between takes, Nicole was seen high-fiving her castmates. Even Harlow got in on the action, visiting the set on Thursday.

Nicole will be filming Chuckuntil the end of next week and the episodes will air on Thursday.

Nicole Richie took their daughter Harlow for a stroll in LA on June 29, and afterwards Nicole and Joel hit LA to do some errands. I love the skinny jeans with the loose t-shirt and vest Nicole is wearing here. I think she looks great.

On June 30, Nicole and Joel had a child-free night out and on their way home, they stopped at Mr. Chow’s. Both Nicole and Joel look really dressed up, but I can’t find any event photos. Maybe it was a private party, or they felt like dressing up for their night out. I like Joel in a suit jacket!

This was a joke that became a rumor a few years a ago (an all-blank cookbook–hilarious! was the premise) but OK Magazine is claiming that Nicole Richie is actually visiting the idea of writing a cookbook.

Nicole has taken up cooking as part of her new domestic lifestyle and is doing her best to provide healthy meals for herself, Joel and Harlow.

“She keeps a box full of recipes handwritten on index cards,” their source says. “She has mac and cheese down to a fine science!”

How OK! Magazine managed to parlay that single quote into a story about Nicole Richie becoming the new Rachael Ray, I’ll never know. It seems a bit ridiculous.

If I’m sick of wedding rumors already, I can’t imagine how sick of this Nicole Richie and Joel Madden must be of it. Joel confirmed again, this time to People, that he and Nicole have no plans to get married any time soon. They are happy just as things are and are just enjoying being a family right now.

“We don’t have any plans for that right now,” Joel told the magazine on Wednesday. “We’re just happy, and we’re being a family, and that’s where we’re at right now. But marriage means something different to everyone.”

People rally shouldn’t be concerned that not wanting to get married means that Nicole and Joel are less committed to each other or to Harlow than other couples. It just means they are taking it slow, not letting social norms define them, and figuring out what’s best for them and their daughter.

I love this quote Joel gave to People about Harlow. He’s having the greatest time being a dad!

“It’s crazy,” he says, of being a father. “Every day she does something new. When she reaches for me, it’s awesome! Just watching her grow, it melts me!”

I love the jacket Nicole Richie wore to her weekly group counselling/alcohol education sessions. She has class every Wednesday and hasn’t missed a single one yet!

Nicole Richie has signed on for a guest appearance on the NBC sitcom Chuck, according to People. Nicole will appear in one episode that will air this fall. She’ll play a mean girl–a “snarky and spiteful girl who tortured” Agent Sarah Walker when they were in high school together. Sounds a lot like the guest role Lindsay Lohan is playing on Ugly Betty!

This isn’t stunt-casting either. Nicole got this role the old-fashioned way–she earned it.

“Nicole auditioned for the part and was very funny,” executive producer Josh Schwartz told People. “This role is a great opportunity for her to show off her comedic skills and be diabolically evil and kick some butt. It’s going to be really fun.”

I love Chuck and think Nicole will be a great fit for the show! Congrats Nicole!
