Cartier has created a new bracelet line, Lovecharity Bracelets, with eight different versions, each for its own celebrity, with proceeds going to that celeb’s charity. Well, as involved as Fergie is, you know she has a Cartier Lovecharity Bracelet.

The Lovecharity Bracelet features interlocking miniature Love bracelets in 18K white gold and 18K rose gold. Both mini-bracelets are engraved with the word Love and set onto a knotted silk cord available in different colors for each celebrity and supporting a unique cause.

Few have made a mark on hairstyle trends, but after Rihanna started chopping her hair into this rocker chic do, ladies have now been requesting “the Rihanna.” She joins the ranks of Meg Ryan and Jennifer Aniston (who can forget “the Rachel?”) in the salon hall of fame… Funny thing is I know I have heard many of my friends say they were thinking of cutting their hair like Rihanna. She’s definitely leaving her mark on style these days.

“The first time I heard people were asking for the Rihanna, it was really flattering and maybe a little strange. It caught me by surprise, but now I feel it’s a very cool thing. I don’t feel the pressure to change it up again at all. I like it, as they like it.”

This issue is about breaking fashion and design rules. What are some you’d like to crush?

The idea of not wearing brown and black together seems so dated. The other day I wore a black T-shirt, black Nobody jeans, a brown leopard-print belt by Dolce & Gabbana, and brown Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, and it looked awesome. Also the rule about not matching your makeup to your outfit. I do that onstage, matching red lipstick to a bright red jacket or neon-pink eye shadow to a pink jumpsuit. And I also love to mix prints.

But you weren’t always a fashion maven? Growing up in Barbados, you were a tomboy.

“I wore my brother’s clothes, dresses with sneakers, or no shoes at all. I would always get into trouble with my mom. She would say things to scare me like, ‘You’re going to get cut!’ But I couldn’t help it. I would climb trees, steal mangoes, catch birds—silly things that were fun to us at the time. My cousin and I were the only girls in the group. We would have to stand up for ourselves because the guys didn’t want us around.”

Your mom owns a boutique and your dad works at a garment factory—is a Rihanna fashion line in the cards?

“I am working on that right now. It takes a lot of effort, and I want to be involved with every step of the process.”

I’ll admit, I was a little heartbroken when learning that Pink and motocross racing husband, Carey Hart were splitting.

While there may be a little wild child in both of them, I knew there was a softer side lurking deep down.

While making an appearance at the opening of his new Las Vegas club, Wasted Space, in the Hard Rock Hotel Hart commented, “It’s a tough situation to be in but I love her to death.”

It doesn’t sound like he’s jumped right back into the dating scene either.

Hart confesses he still misses his ex. “I miss everything about her,” he says. And in the wake of their split, “I became a workaholic,” says the motocross star. “I work 19 hours a day.”

I do hope they end up getting back together.

Ellen DeGeneres gave Portia de Rossi a magnificent ring with pink diamonds for their upcoming wedding that will air in part on DeGeneres’s talk show.

DeGeneres and de Rossi confirmed a date had been set as the famous lesbian couple walked the red carpet at Friday night’s 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.

The two are reportedly in the midst of planning a “dream wedding” and finding that wedding planning isn’t all it’s cracked up to be and that it is actually quite stressful.

Jessica Simpson was probably amazed when fans turned on her after she wore that pink jersey to the Cowboy’s game. Of course, it didn’t help that Tony Romo couldn’t throw his way out of a paper bag for the games she attended, either. (Obviously he can’t perform when Jess is around.)

But here’s a sports team who thinks Jessica is GOOD luck. (Or at the very least, they want to capitalize on her fame. Methinks it might be the latter.)

Still, it’s a refreshing thing to note that the Grand Prairie AirHogs (from Grand Prairie, Texas) have announced a Jessica Simpson Night for the July 6th game against the Pensacola Pelicans. The manager of the team, Dave Burke, is putting his money where his mouth his. He “guarantees an AirHogs victory that afternoon, or all fans in attendance will receive a free ticket to a future game.”

In honor of Jessica night, the stadium will show her music, highlights of Newlywed’s, and “a special prize awarded in a contest to the best Jessica Simpson look-a-like in attendance.” Fans can also bring their dogs (in honor of Jessica’s beloved Daisy) and the Pet will “gain free entrance.” (As if they would charge otherwise?)

And if that isn’t enough, there will be $2 margaritas available as well.

I think you guys will love this clip. It’s from last week when Jessica Simpson visited K-Frog studios in Colton, California. Jessica is her charming best in this video, politely answering questions and posing for photos.

Jessica talked about country music week and how the fans welcomed her. She also said there were fewer paparazzi in Nashville, so didn’t feel as hounded as she normally does. She started off great and then talked about sneezing out a spaghetti noodle once - which I think I could have done without.

Still, the guys at K-Frog loved talking with her and couldn’t say enough about her new album. They got a chance to listen to four or five songs and said they “came back bragging on her” and that she might have a genuine hit or two. Jess said she thought “Come on Over” wasn’t even the best of the bunch.

One of the fans in the audience gave her a blue Tony Romo jersey (to replace that pink one that has gotten her in so much trouble) and Jess assured the fan she would gladly wear it.

She also recalls a very cute story from her childhood, where she talks about singing a fish song when she was about six, and having Ashlee wear a tutu and twirl around while Jess sang. I can just picture it, can’t you?

Perhaps the morning guys summed it up best when they said, “You’re everything we didn’t expect you to be.” It’s obvious they wanted to dislike her but she charmed them. Plus you get a glimpse of Daisy in this clip as an added bonus. Enjoy:

Never underestimate the competitive energy of London's new generation of designers. Not content to be consigned to the sidelines as weightier labels get their teeth into Resort, a few canny Londoners have got their acts together and designed pre-collections for the first time. OK, it might be a tentative beginning (no one can afford shows), but Erdem, Richard Nicoll, Roksanda Ilincic, and Aquascutum have all stepped up to mark with bright-looking ideas to lob into fashion's crucial new in-between season.

Erdem
After a couple of years taxi-ing on the runway, Erdem Moralioglu's collection is suddenly flying. The more he relaxes into his propensity for print and lace, the better he gets. Vivid, summery blue and pink dappled maxidresses; strapless white dresses smothered in black Chantilly; and little ivory damask shorts suits with silk print blouses all clinch the charm and freshness of a look that's already won over Keira Knightley, who wore a purple plissé Erdem number to the premiere of "The Edge of Love" last week.

Richard Nicoll
It's hardly surprising that Richard Nicoll is extending his summer offerings: He might live in London, but as an Australian, his understanding of warm-weather dressing is innate. "I guess it's effortlessness. I wanted to inject color, dynamism, and simplicity. Something laid-back, optimistic, and real," he says. For Resort, he's tweaked his double-hem silhouettes, reworked his high-waist carpenter pant, and added giant breezy silk T-shirts and tank dresses, turning up the color dial to orange and hot pink, blocked against navy.

Roksanda Illincic
"This is my first big pre-collection," says Roksanda Ilincic. "Fifteen looks, long or knee-length. I wanted to do more of what people liked last season—my draped dresses. And I tried to make them hard to resist!" The result: flowing silk satin cocktail numbers redolent of Ilincic's off-hand chic. "I've used yellows, navy, ivory; solid color but then with a crazy bright accent, like a bright red belt."

Aquascutum
"It's 40 shades of blue," declares Michael Herz of Aquascutum's first Resort collection. "It began with a shower-proof silk trenchcoat, and we've built it up from there, into all sorts of tailoring, shorts, and sweatshirts." Standouts are the navy and white color-blocked dresses, which, Herz promises, are the starting points for the more elaborate patchworked and embroidered pieces he and Graeme Fidler will show on the London runway in September.

Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr spiced up the Gran Canaria Moda Calida 2008 runway in Las Palmas, Spain yesterday, modeling swimsuits that probably wouldn’t be so cute if she weren’t wearing them. The only one I’d even consider sporting is the last one, in Picture Three, but can you imagine what god-awful tan lines you’d acquire after a mere hour in the sun in that crazy thing?!

It’s no secret that Queen Elizabeth loves horses and horse-racing. Her delight was evident at the Epsom races on Saturday, June 7, 2008. The monarch, who wore a cheery bright pink coat and matching hat, was accompanied by Prince Philip. The couple watched the race from the royal balcony.

Another royal couple was in the races, not as spectators, but as horse owners and eventually race winners. Princess Haya of Jordan and Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum of Dubai are the owners of the winning horse, New Approach.

Mischa Barton glams up to the extreme in a skin-tight white lace dress to go to Mr. Chow for dinner. She ate dinner with a friend (maybe Taylor Locke?) on the terrace and then they took a cab back to Mischa’s NY hotel - the pink/black bags are prepared foods in take-out boxes.
