Jamie Oliver might be one of the world’s hottest celebrity chefs, but in his own home he takes a backseat to the ladies in his life. He says pregnant wife Jools, six-year-old Poppy, and five-year-old Daisy are clearly in charge!

“The wife is getting more and more control of the house and the two girls have got it all sewn up,” Jamie said, noting that “I work for them now. Did you know that? I work for Poppy and Daisy Oliver.”

Part of that could be because the girls think Jamie’s work is “very insignificant!”

“They are completely unimpressed by what I do. As they get older they are getting cheekier and funnier.”

It remains to be seen whether Jamie has another “boss” when his third child arrives in April. After Poppy Honey and Daisy Boo, I can’t wait to see what they call this one! Jamie assures us it’s all out of his hands.

“Jools has got the names all sussed and she won’t even tell me. She’ll probably call it something like Sunshine or Dewdrop.”

Just as she did with her last pregnancy, Jools is experiencing “a lot of strange cravings. At the moment she is on a lot of everything. I can’t remember seeing her in the past week without something in her hand.”

One thing she won’t try is the placenta recipe Jamie hoped to concoct after the birth!  A dejected Jamie was heartbroken when he heard “they have to take it and do tests on it.”

“I was going to do a chicken liver parfait with placenta, not liver. I was going to get all my mates round to wet the baby’s head and I wasn’t going to tell them - then show them a DVD of me making it afterwards. But Jools wouldn’t let me, she is too sensible.”

It sounds like it’s a good thing Jools is around to rein her hubby in!

On Friday, December 19th, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren formally celebrated their nuptials in a reception held at their Beverly Hills home according to Us Weekly, seven months after they were married.

The couple expressed their commitment in speeches they each gave to the crowd full of friends and family.  Their fathers also spoke about their marriage. A mariachi band capped off the evening’s events.

Jessica and Cash exchanged their vows at the Beverly Hills courthouse on May 19, 2008 while Jessica was pregnant with daughter Honor Marie.

Who was the biggest star of 2008? Who had the most impact on the year that was, who inspired the most headlines or generated the biggest amount of buzz? It's really tough to say ... yet, for decades now, plenty of magazines have been doing just that (we're looking at you, Time). And so, after years of sitting on the sidelines, we here at MTV News have decided to get in on the act too.

Over the next few days, we'll be unveiling our list of the most fascinating, controversial and, well, BRITNEY!!! women of the year. These are the artists, actors and pop-culture heavyweights who dominated the headlines here at MTVNews.com (and no, Sarah Palin didn't make the cut ... we'll leave that to the folks at Time).

Today, we present picks 10 to 6. On Tuesday, we'll reveal numbers 5 to 2. And then, on Thursday, we'll unveil our 2008 MTV News Woman of the Year. And, of course, we'd love to hear what you've got to say — we'll even publish some of the best comments later this week — so if you agree with us (or if you don't), let us know in the comments below.

10. Beyoncé

2008 Highlights: Spent the majority of the year putting the finishing touches on her much-discussed double-album, I Am ... Sasha Fierce ... Played legendary blues singer Etta James in "Cadillac Records" ... Married longtime beau Jay-Z ... Applauded by PETA for her fur-free outfits ... Released a pair of singles, "If I Were a Boy" and "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)," the latter of which ended up being our second-best song of 2008 ... Donated $100,000 to victims of Hurricane Ike ... Volunteered her services for Barack Obama's inauguration ... Snagged her third-consecutive #1 album, selling more than 482,000 copies of I Am in one week ... Parodied the "Single Ladies" video to hilarious effect on "Saturday Night Live" ... Landed a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song. To anyone else, this is a lifetime's worth of résumé fodder. To B, it was just another year.

9. Hayley Williams

2008 Highlights: Penned a cryptic blog post that kicked off rumors that she and her band, Paramore, were calling it quits ... Addressed those rumors (and whispers that she was pregnant) in an equally cryptic blog post that used the phrase "My Eggo is not preggo" less than 24 hours later ... Sat down with MTV News for an "everything's fine" interview in Austin, Texas, during South by Southwest ... Defended "family friend" Miley Cyrus ... Played the Warped Tour ... Battled her stepfather over unscrupulous eBaying ... Got (then later removed) bull-ring piercing in septum ... Admired by John Mayer ... Performed in a virtual Whisky A Go Go during the MTV Video Music Awards ... Contributed a pair of songs to the "Twilight" soundtrack ... Copped to being a huge "Twilight" fan and a member of Team Jacob ... Began work on new Paramore album ... Is seriously, like, 4 feet tall.

8. Rihanna

2008 Highlights: Won her first-ever Grammy in early February ... Followed up on that momentum by landing an opening slot on Kanye West's Glow in the Dark Tour ... Re-released her hugely successful Good Girl Gone Bad album with the hugely successful single "Take a Bow" ... Denied reports that she and Chris Brown were an item (despite mounting evidence to the contrary) ... Performed a freaky version of "Disturbia" (another one of her hugely successful singles) at the Video Music Awards ... Collapsed onstage in Australia while performing a duet with Brown, sparking rumors she was pregnant ... Inspired a fan revolt when none of the aforementioned "hugely successful singles" are named in James Montgomery's Best Songs of 2008 list ... Did, at some juncture during the year, get a fairly awesome neck tattoo.

7. Aubrey O'Day

2008 Highlights: Rolled into the year fresh off reports that she was leaving Danity Kane to join the Pussycat Dolls ... Appeared to put all the drama behind her when DK's Welcome to the Dollhouse debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts ... Launched DK/Day26 tour in May ... Landed the role of Amber Von Tussle in the Broadway version of "Hairspray," which causes her to miss Danity Kane's appearance on "FNMTV" ... Boasted about her breasts during an interview with former WWE announcer Paul Heyman ... Shot a rather eye-opening photo spread for Complex magazine ... Booted from Danity Kane during live finale of MTV's "Making the Band" due to concerns over her "image" and despite the fact she was one of only two interesting members in the group ... Reportedly posed for Playboy ... May have had the most turbulent 12 months of anyone not named " Britney Spears" or "Amy Winehouse."

6: Sasha Fierce

2008 Highlights: Created by Beyoncé as a marketing tool/ psychological id for her I Am ... Sasha Fierce album ... Despite being completely fictional, may actually be more interesting than the actual Beyoncé ... Starred in the "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" video, which managed to "out-crazy even 'Ring the Alarm' " ... Definitive proof that Beyoncé is nuts ... Signified by a futuristic metallic glove worn on the left hand ... Is probably steampunk ... Quite possibly the most interesting alter-ego ever created by a musical superstar (sorry, Chris Gaines).

Tom Cruise recently revealed that he and Katie Holmes do want to add another child to their family. They are waiting until Katie is done with her Broadway stint and returns back to their family home in California.

Tom said, ‘We have already heard she’s pregnant but it’s not true. But yes, we will have more children. I’m saying this, but Kate’s not here! She’s working and we’re enjoying this time right now. It’s very precious, we don’t get this time back.

‘When Suri was born we shut everything down for months, just to be with Suri and the kids. But now I’m making movies and Kate is loving being on Broadway because it has been a dream of hers, so we are enjoying this time too.’

They are definitely one busy couple right now and there is no room for a pregnancy, that’s for sure! When they do decide the time is right, they are going to have three very excited children. Nicole Kidman says that Connor Cruise wants a little brother! Although, it will be interesting to see how Suri reacts to not being the center of attention anymore. I know my daughter had a very hard time when her little brother came around. When I was changing his diaper, she used to grab the diaper and try to hide it somewhere. Little stinker. :-)

It looks like Suri Cruise couldn’t decide which umbrella to use when her and momma Katie Holmes left their apartment on November 30th. Katie is seen carrying the lady bug umbrella we have all seen, as well as a pink ruffled one. Suri chose the Dora the Explorer one. The look on her face is too cute. It’s like she’s saying ‘Oh yeah, look at my awesome umbrella collection’.

Suri Cruise also has quite the collection of coats. In these pictures and the M&M store pictures, she is wearing an off-white fury coat. I have also seen her in a gray coat, a camel colored coat, no coat and a very fashionable white coat. She is definitely one of the best dressed toddlers around.

When Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise went shopping on November 24th, the paparazzi got some excellent and adorable pictures of Suri. She looks so beautiful in her blue dress, hanging on to her baby doll and walking around NY doing some shopping. 

Tom Cruise recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight and was saying that Suri will not wear pants. She hates them! She is a girlie-girl through and through and only wants to wear dresses.

Tom also commented on trying to protect his kids from the paparazzi. He said, “As a parent you protect your children, but Suri is a very open and warm child and she’ll just wave to people on the street. She’s such a happy, fun girl.”

In Touch Weekly seems to have a radar zeroed in on Angelina Jolies ovulation and pregnancy status. They broke the news of Jolie’s second pregnancy with twins and they are standing firm that the actress is expecting another child in the new year.

Jolie and Pitt already parent three adopted children, Maddox, Pax and Zahara and three biological children, Shiloh and infant twins Vivienne and Knox.

Recently, Jolie has given several interviews about her desire to expand their family even further. And during the launch of DVD Kung Fu Panda last week, she was quoted as saying, ‘Anything could happen. We’re open to anything, we love kids and we’re having a great time. It’s chaos in our house, but it’s so much fun. We’ll definitely have more.‘

Thirty-four year old supermodel, Kate Moss, created quite a stir recently, but not for the usual reasons. The known party girl was spotted without her usual makeup and Kate “au natural” was almost unrecognisable. Pictures circulating on the Internet revealed a wrinkled and pasty-looking Moss.
Conjectures are that the top-earning model’s partying ways are finally catching up with her. Gossip writers revealed that close inspection of the normally flawless beauty revealed spots and cold sore on her top lip.
Despite her less than fabulous look, Moss was reportedly looking quite happy as she chatted with current flame, 39-year old Jamie Hince. She is also reportedly pregnant with her second child, although there ahs been no confirmation.
