Bit by bit we are learning more about Nicole Richie’s role on Chuck. We now she’s a cheerleader who was the high-school nemesis of Agent Sarah Walker and there’s a big, bloody showdown. We now know that this showdown takes place in the showers of a high school locker room!

“At first it was a little cold and then it would warm up,” Yvonne Strahovski, who plays Sarah Walker, told ET. “It probably took a few hours to shoot. The fight scenes usually take a while to shoot because we have to get the stunt doubles in to do a take.”

Yvonne also praised Nicole for her work on the show–and isn’t the first cast member to do so!

“[Nicole] was really on it,” Yvonne said. “She has a dance background, so her choreography skills were really great. It was one of the easy ones to film.”

This is awesome news! Nicole will be in the fourth episode of the season. The premiere is Monday, September 29. So, if my math is correct, Nicole will be on the show on October 20!

David Beckham played often and he played well in last night’s MLS All-Star game against West Ham. The All-Stars defeated West Ham 3-2 in what was the first Al-Star game to be played in Canada, and David’s premiere on Canadian soil. While David remained scoreless throughout the game, he had several opportunities that didn’t come through and was key in several other plays.

Below are some pictures of David out on the field. His presence delighted the 20,000 fans who have been waiting for David to finally play BMO Field.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may not be novice parents but they’re new to the world of twins and it seems a lot of people are shouting out with words of wisdom, advice, good cheer, and even babysitting offers.

This week’s issue of People magazine has Brad and Angie on the cover (actually so does every other weekly magazine that I saw in the store today), which you can see here. Inside, Wyclef Jean, a friend of Angelina said “I’m willing to babysit for them!” which is a brave offer when there are six kids! Babysitting aside, he feels they’ll be more than able to handle the large group of children, saying “they will do well”.

Meanwhile, People also interviewed an everyday non-celebrity family who have something in common with the Jolie-Pitt family in that they had four children already when they added twins to their family. They advised them that sleep is even more elusive with twins, that they often didn’t get to bed until 1 am by the time they got all the kids to sleep and took care of their own things, and that the father fell asleep while being driven, blindfolded, to a surprise party just because he was so incredibly tired.

Even the family’s eight-year-old daughter was able to give a piece of advice to Maddox Jolie-Pitt. She said, “The babies may stink up the house a little, and they might make some noise. It may be hard, but being the oldest of six can be fun.”

How cute is that?

Well, I’m calling this story somewhat true, somewhat false. Rumors are a flying that Angelina Jolie is DEMANDING a C-section pronto because she is just tired of being pregnant. Rumors are also flying that she’s being demanding and demeaning to staff at the hospital in France, that she’s being a diva, etc.

Okay, first of all, SHE’S NINE MONTHS PREGNANT WITH TWINS. Give the woman a break. At that point in my pregnancy I was basically a quivering, sobbing mess of hormonal Jello. I cried over everything, I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t eat, and basically was the bride of Satan. Plus, when you’ve got twin spawn stepping on your bladder all the live long day you just aren’t in the mood to be Miss Mary Sunshine, kwim? So I don’t doubt that she’s a little, ahem, “emotional” at this point, but I’m sure whatever we’re reading is highly, HIGHLY exaggerated.

There’s a short piece and a great photo of Mary-Kate Olsen in the summer issue of V Magazine. It’s another promotional piece for her movie The Wackness. MK has done so much press for this film, you’d think she was the star!

Even though the article is really brief, I love how humble Mary-Kate is and how serious about acting she comes across as.

“I don’t think I’ll ever have that extreme confidence [to watch myself onscreen]. I criticize myself and know there’s no changing what’s done once the film is finished, so why torture myself? I’ll do my thing and I hope that people can appreciate my art.”

However, Mary-Kate wasn’t so lucky in avoiding seeing her performance in The Wackness, she had to stay in the theatre when it premiered at the Sundance film festival, but “thank god everyone loved the film.”

Mk also seems to be really appreciative of her current career and how it challenges her creatively. I can only hope she continues to make strong, engaging films and continues to love acting.

Loni Anderson, 62, married folk singer Bob Flick in California on May 17.

As fate would have it, a posed photo in 1963 is credited for first uniting the pair.

The same photo was used to decorate their wedding cake - what an adorable addition to the days events.

Long story short… Both attended a movie premiere in Minneapolis when Anderson was sent for a fan photo opp with Flick and his group.  While the pair married on May 17th, they had their reception on June 23 at Vibrato Grill Jazz … Etc. in Bel Air, Calif.

People reports the inscription on the cake read, “When we met, 5-17-63.”

How sweet the two would marry on the same day - 45 years later.

We do wish them all the best.

Rumor has it that Ali Lohan will be making a cameo appearance in the music vieo “Love Bug” by the Jonas Brothers.

The music video is set to premier on August 22nd after the premiere of The Cheetah Girls: One World movie. The "Love Bug" song appears on the latest Jonas Brothers CD, "A Little Bit Longer" (out on August 12th).

The "Love Bug" music video is expected to include three old fashioned Bug cars (one for each Jonas brother) and cameos by Demi Lovato, Alyson Stoner and The Cheetah Girls (in addition to Ali Lohan).

With the announcement that Assassination of a High School President would be coming out on September 12th, I decided to revisit some reviews of this film. It received nothing but very high praise at its premieres, and I was curious why it was been given only a limited release to theaters (or, so early information indicates).

The film has 60% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is actually quite high if you look at the movies that are "blockbusters" this week. More people call it clever than otherwise, so why do you think it’s not getting a full release?

In Assassination of a High School President, Mischa Barton plays the part of senior hottie Francesca Facchini. She solicits the help of the St. Donovan’s High newspaper reporter Bobby Funke (Reece Thompson) to find a set of stolen SATs, which implicates the school president. This wins him the respect of the entire school and its principal Kirkpatrick (Bruce Willis), and Franscesca takes him to homecoming. However, Funke begins to think he’s a pawn in a conspiracy theory and unearths a sordid secret at St. Donovan’s that involves more people than he could have expected… and could crack him.

Mischa Barton’s movie, Assassination of a High School President, will be premiering on September 12th. Assassination has already premiered at Sundance and at the AFI Dallas Film Festivals, among other festival openings. Full details are not available yet, but it looks like the September 12th release will be to limited theaters only.
