Thirty-four year old supermodel, Kate Moss, created quite a stir recently, but not for the usual reasons. The known party girl was spotted without her usual makeup and Kate “au natural” was almost unrecognisable. Pictures circulating on the Internet revealed a wrinkled and pasty-looking Moss.
Conjectures are that the top-earning model’s partying ways are finally catching up with her. Gossip writers revealed that close inspection of the normally flawless beauty revealed spots and cold sore on her top lip.
Despite her less than fabulous look, Moss was reportedly looking quite happy as she chatted with current flame, 39-year old Jamie Hince. She is also reportedly pregnant with her second child, although there ahs been no confirmation.

She strikes some sexy poses in skimpy black outfits to match the color of the new V-Rod Muscle motorcycle which she’s been promoting for Harley Davidson.
Channeling her modeling skills as a catwalk hottie and one of Victoria’s Secret’s Angels, Marisa Miller is featured wearing skimpy outfits in a series of promotional ads for Harley Davidson’s new V-Rod Muscle motorcycle. Starting from this Friday, October 10, Harley will launch the supermodel’s ads, including video, wallpapers and downloadable photos promoting the new ride, which the company referred as “sporty, sleek bike that targets a younger, urban and affluent demographic.”
“To represent such an iconic American brand is incredible,” Miller said in a statement about becoming the model of the ad. “I have grown up watching my dad and uncle ride Harleys. It’s amazing to circle back at this point in my career, and work with a brand I have so much respect for.”

SUPERMODEL Tyra Banks has appeared on a magazine cover in the role of US presidential hopeful Barack Obama’s wife, Michelle.

“When Barack won the nomination, I just started bawling. I started calling all these people, and everybody was talking to me like I was crazy,” she told Harpers Bazaar. “They’re like, ‘Well, he hasn’t won yet,’ but I’m like, ‘Yes, he has, because he’s gotten this far.’ I think he gives everybody so much hope.”

Banks’s turn as a possible future First Lady follows Paris Hilton throwing her hat into the US presidential race, declaring her desire to campaign against “that wrinkly white-haired guy” The blonde socialite responded to Republican candidate John McCain’s controversial use of her image in a campaign television spot last week with a satirical ad of her own posted on the website Funnyordie.com. In the ad, the 27-year-old appears reclining on a sun lounger beside a swimming pool, dressed only in a skimpy leopard-print bathing costume. “Hey America, I’m Paris Hilton and I’m a celebrity too,” she declares. “Only I’m not from the olden days and I’m not promising change like that other guy. I’m just hot. “But then that wrinkly white-haired guy used me in his campaign ad, which I guess means I’m running for president. Notoriously fickle and youth obsessed, the profession normally casts out most of its models almost as soon as they are out of their teens.
Or so the common theories go. To the surprise of many, though, it is no waif-life Eastern European youth grabbing the attention of fashion watchers in the September edition of British Vogue. Rather it is Linda Evangelista, the new, 43-year-old face of Prada.
In a move that is seen as the ultimate eye-catching play to a public who are less keen to spend as the credit crunch worsens, the supermodels - the elite group of Amazonian women who took the world by storm in the early 1990s - are now back in vogue.
Like Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington, Eva Herzigova, Helena Christensen, Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell, Evangelista became famous for taking fashion modelling and salary demands to a new level. She is often quoted as saying that she “didn’t get out of bed for less than $10,000″.
As the face of the autumn/winter Prada collection, Evangelista is back on the front line, Campbell is starring in the new Yves Saint Laurent campaign, Turlington is the most recent face of Escada and Schiffer is currently smiling for Salvatore Ferragamo.
According to Carol White, managing editor of Premiership Model Management, the renaissance of “the supermodels” can be credited in part to the desire to appeal to older women with more disposable income, and the need to have the models most instantly recognisable to a public with less cash to splash.
“In times of financial instability, brands go for top quality; they want to sell dreams. There is much more punch with a girl like Linda, than a beautiful face from Ukraine,” Ms White said.
“Over the last four or five years we’ve seen an influx of beautiful but bland girls from Eastern Europe. Today, fashion brands are looking to spice things up with strong personalities and iconic women.”
The trend is good news for the 40-somethings who have all, at some time or other, slipped off the fashion radar.
Known as “the trinity” in the early 1990s, Evangelista, Campbell and Turlington pushed for better model wages. They paved the way for the likes of Giselle Bundchen, who last year topped Forbes.com’s list of the top earning models in the world, earning $US33 million ($35 million).
Two decades on, the likes of Evangelista can expect at least $637,000 for a campaign - 300 times more than an unknown face would receive.

Trillionaire supermodel Gisele Bundchen is pissssssed. Recently, a fan of hers took it upon herself to decide her hair must be fake, just like Kate Moss’. So, she did what any nutjob would do, and yanked at it!

Gisele claims, “The other day, a girl on my plane was pulling my hair. She was like, ‘I just want to check…” Gisele then goes on to say, “This is all my hair, by the way. I did not have extensions.”

So for those of you who thought Gisele’s beautiful dirty-blonde colored hair was nothing but a good set of extensions, well, now you know. Let the jealousy sink in. And if you happen to be on one of her flights in the future, she’d appreciate it if you kept your hands to yourself! :)

Remember how, awhile back, it was reported that Gisele Bundchen makes thirty and some odd million dollars a year as a supermodel? Yeah, well she doesn’t agree with all that. Not one bit. Gisele was recently quoted as saying, “I would like to know who this reporter is (who said that). And I would like him to talk to my accountant and figure out where is the cash that’s missing. Because I haven’t seen it.” Although she didn’t elaborate on how much she actually does make each year, I’m willing to bet it’s at least half, if not more of what the exaggerater-faced reporter originally assumed.

I told you this would happen! When supermodel Kate Moss’ hair extension fell out in Berlin last week while she was trying to duck under the persistent paparazzi, it was photographed to death, making news websites everywhere. After all that, I had a feeling it would somehow end up on ebay, and so it did.

News reports claim, “Photographer John Farr told the newspaper he picked it up and has posted it on the Internet auction site on behalf of the German anti-drug charity Keine Macht den Drogen (No Power to Drugs).” Farr was soon afterwards quoted as saying, “I hope Kate doesn’t mind. I did not have time to ask her because she was in quite a hurry.” HAHAHAHA. I hope she doesn’t mind that I’m gaining personal dollars to auction off the hairpiece that I was probably responsible for knocking off of her haid. Wow. Some people’s children.

Anyway, the bidding on this awkward item will run through July 3rd, but already, Kate’s hair extension has received about 20,000 views. Love meant everything to her. Supermodel Ruslana Korshunova poured her heart out on the Web in the months leading to her apparent suicide. “Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably,” the sandy-haired knockout wrote in a poem that concluded: “And never regret anything that made you smile.”

The Kazakh beauty wrote that love “blinds,” “sets souls afire,” and “is always the answer” in emotion-soaked passages posted on a social networking site. Korshunova volleyed between Russian and English in her heartfelt prose, but love was a central theme no matter the language. “Do not confuse love and desire,” she wrote in Russian in her most recent posting May 30. “Love is the sun, desire - only flash. Desire dazzles, and the sun gives life.” The soulful note warns of the perils of sacrifice.

“Love does not take away from one in order to give to another,” wrote Korshunova, a 20-year-old thousands of miles from her native Kazakhstan. “Love - this is the essence of life. But you will not give your life to another.”

Korshunova’s most telling message came three months ago: “I’m so lost. Will I ever find myself?”

She appeared angry in some postings, brokenhearted in others. “I’m a bitch. I’m a witch. I don’t care what you say!!!” she wrote March 11. “I know what it is. I know why my other relationships didn’t work out, ’cause I’m unpredictable. Why are you afraid of it?”

In January, she wrote, “It hurts, as if someone took a part of me, tore it out, mercilessly stomped all over and threw it out.

“My dream is to fly. Oh, my rainbow it is too high,” she wrote in a March note.

Uma Thurman is engaged to Swiss financier Arpad Busson.

Her rep confirmed that Arpad popped the question to Uma and gave her a big insanely huge rock to seal the deal.

The ring is eight carats for the center stone surrounded by 20 smaller stones.

This will be the third marriage for Uma, who married Gary Oldman and Ethan Hawke previously. She has two children with Ethan. Arpad is no stranger to high profile bonds, either, he was dating supermodel Elle Macpherson, who he has two children with.

The couple met at a private dinner in Milan last year.
